- C Axis Indexing – Employs a AC servo motor, worm gear, double pinion gear to allow for smooth rotation with reduced backlash. The positioning is monitored by the rotary encoder sensor.
- Live Spindle – The spindle unit is incorporated in the squared ram of size 240x240mm which uses a combination of double roll cylindrical roller bearings and double direction thrust angular ball bearings. As such, heavy duty machining and high accuracy can be maintained.
- Turning Tool Holder – The turning tool holder is pulled with the belleville spring at the spindle center as the main clamps and sub-clamp systems are provided at the 4 corners of the ram end, making it possible for accurate positioning with the curvic coupling.
