Ultra large machines are Homma’s speciality and their HM series double column vertical lathes are one of the largest on the planet with a work table diameter of up to 8,000mm, RAM stroke of 2,000mm with multiple RAM heads and an array of options such as secondary grinding head, crank throw, etc. The HM series is the crown of all vertical lathes.

 

  • HOMMA HM 5.0

    This double column CNC Vertical turning lathe with a Ø5,000mm work table is designed to focus on small lot machining of middle size motor and generator frames. To adapt to a variety of workpiece sizes, cross rails are removables with a long holding RAM head, so that even deep ID turning is stable within the 2,000mm RAM stroke.

  • HOMMA HM8.0

    This is the largest size double column CNC Vertical turning lathe with high rigidity, high accuracy and a wider Ø8,000mm working area.

  • HOMMA HM 2 ram head

    This machine was designed for crank throw segment machining which is the built in semi-built type crank shaft for large size vessels. Both outside and tapered portions as well as journal bore potions of the crank throw can be machined accurately on this machine.

  • HOMMA Grinding head

    This machine is built utilized Homma’s full set of technology integration, creating a multi function machining center with high rigidity and high accuracy.
