HOMMA’s ultra high class FM series are a range of ultra rigid & large format Machining centers with work table sizes ranging from 1,400mm x 4,000mm up to 4,500mm x 15,000mm, with either travelling gantry type or table type. The machines comes with an array of options including high speed spindles, auto pallet changers and 110 tool ATC.   • HOMMA FM Travelling Gantry

    This range of machines are Homma’s newest gantry type double column machining center which realizes full automatic high speed operation with heavy 5 face machining on large workpieces and les installation space. This gantry is fed by ballscrew or double pinion and rack system depending on the gantry travelling distance.

    The FM Travelling Gantry has a work table size from 2,000×12,000 up to 4,500×15,000mm with a  maximum X Travel of 16,500mm. The selected CNC controller is FANUC controlling 7 axis with 3 simultaneous axis.

  • HOMMA FM Table type APC

    This machine range is a travelling type double column machining center which realizes heavy duty and high accuracy machining on 5 and multi face on large size work pieces. Esepcially with this machine with APC, operation time can be greatly reduced with the loading of the next workpiece while the machining is down.

    The FM Travelling Gantry has a work table size from 1,500×4,000mm up to 3,000×6,000mm with a  maximum X Travel of 6,700mm. The selected CNC controller is FANUC controlling 6 axis with 3 simultaneous axis.

  • HOMMA FM Table Type

    This double column machining center with travelling table is equipped with angle ATT by AAC, therefore 5 face machining function is possible. High rigidity is achieved with hydrostatic bearings applied on the table guideways. Closed loop controls for all axis allows higher positioning accuracy and so large size work components can be machined effectively and accurately with Homma integrated technologies

  • SIMULTANEOUS 5 AXIS

    HOMMA FM 5 Axis

    Simultaneous 5 Axis double column machining center designed for 3D contour machining of aircraft components, plastic machine mould etc. A unique universal head utilizing an inclining axis (B Axis) and a swivelling axis (C Axis) with a full closed loop control system allows for high precision machining on any curved or inclined surface on large workpieces.

    This machine is equipped with 2 work table and each table can be operated independently or connected as one long work table. For short workpieces, setting of workpiece can be done on one table while machining operation is in process on the other.

    This machine was developed for very heavy duty machining of crossing rails made of high Manganese cast iron which is a material known particularly for its resistance to machining. 7 Axis in total are CNC controlled which allows for cross rail machining with high accuracy and high speed.
